We are excited to announce that Hancock Hounds Dog Park (HHDP) is now a registered New York State non-profit corporation. As of September 2021, we have also obtained the prestigious status of being an IRS tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization. This achievement reflects our commitment to serving the community and providing a safe and enjoyable environment for our furry friends.

Phase 2 Construction Fundraising

We are actively raising funds to complete the much-anticipated “Phase 2” of the construction of the Hancock Hounds Dog Park. This new phase will enhance the park’s facilities and amenities, ensuring an even better experience for both dogs and their owners. A Convenient Location

Located behind the Hancock Town Hall at 661 West Main Street, HHDP is easily accessible to both local residents and commuters. If you live nearby, you can enjoy a short walk to the park, while those commuting can take advantage of the available parking at the Town Hall. Additionally, we are delighted to inform you that the park will be conveniently situated next to the new Tesla Turbo electric vehicle charging station. This integration of eco-friendly infrastructure further demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and innovation.Set against the picturesque backdrop of the western Catskills and serving as the gateway to the Delaware River in upstate New York, the Hancock Hounds Dog Park offers a unique experience for both dogs and their owners.
