We are now a New York State Not-Profit Corporation
We are excited to announce that we have recently become a New York State not-profit corporation operating under the name Hancock Hounds Dog Park, Inc. This milestone marks a significant step in our journey to provide a safe and enjoyable space for dogs and their owners in the Hancock community.
A Registered 501(c)3 Organization
In addition to our new status as a not-profit corporation, we are also proud to share that Hancock Hounds Dog Park (HHDP) is now an IRS tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization. This designation recognizes our commitment to serving the community and our dedication to promoting the well-being of dogs.
Fundraising for Phase 2 of Construction
With our legal and tax-exempt status in place, HHDP is now actively raising funds to complete the “Phase 2” of construction for the Hancock Hounds Dog Park. This next phase will enhance the park’s facilities and amenities, providing an even better experience for both dogs and their owners.
The Hancock Hounds Dog Park is located behind the Hancock Town Hall at 661 West Main Street. Its convenient location makes it easily accessible for local residents and commuters alike. Commuters can take advantage of the parking available at the Town Hall, ensuring that the park is within reach for those who wish to visit with their furry friends.
Furthermore, we are pleased to announce that the Hancock Hounds Dog Park will be situated next to the new Tesla Turbo electric vehicle charging station. This eco-friendly feature aligns with our commitment to sustainability and provides an added convenience for electric vehicle owners who visit the park.
The park’s location in the scenic western Catskills and its proximity to the Delaware River make it an ideal destination for dog lovers seeking outdoor adventures. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to the area, the Hancock Hounds Dog Park offers a beautiful setting where dogs can play, socialize, and explore.
We invite you to join us in supporting the Hancock Hounds Dog Park. Your contributions will help us complete Phase 2 of construction and continue to provide a safe and enjoyable space for dogs and their owners in our community. Together, we can create a vibrant and welcoming environment for all dogs to thrive.
