Welcome to Hancock Hounds Dog Park!

We are excited to share the news that Hancock Hounds Dog Park (HHDP) is now a registered non-profit corporation in the state of New York. As of September 2021, we have also obtained the prestigious IRS tax-exempt 501(c)3 status. This milestone allows us to further our mission of providing a safe and enjoyable space for dogs and their owners in the Hancock community.

About Hancock Hounds Dog Park

Located behind the Hancock Town Hall at 661 West Main Street, HHDP is a haven for both local residents and commuters alike. Our park is easily accessible, just a short walk from the town center and with parking available at the Town Hall. We are also proud to announce that we are conveniently situated next to the new Tesla Turbo electric vehicle charging station, making it even more convenient for visitors to recharge both their cars and their furry friends.

Nestled in the scenic Western Catskills and serving as a gateway to the Delaware River in upstate New York, Hancock Hounds Dog Park offers a picturesque setting for dogs and their owners to enjoy. Surrounded by natural beauty, our park provides a serene and peaceful atmosphere for both humans and canines to unwind and connect with nature.

Supporting Phase 2 Construction

We are currently in the process of raising funds to complete “Phase 2” of the construction of Hancock Hounds Dog Park. With the support of our community and generous donors, we aim to enhance the park’s facilities and amenities, ensuring an even better experience for everyone who visits. Phase 2 will include additional play areas, agility equipment, shaded seating areas, and more.By contributing to our fundraising efforts, you will be directly supporting the development and maintenance of this valuable community resource.
