We are now a New York State Non-Profit Corporation

We are thrilled to announce that we have recently become a New York State non-profit corporation operating under the name Hancock Hounds Dog Park, Inc. This new status allows us to further our mission of providing a safe and enjoyable space for dogs and their owners in the Hancock community.

A Registered 501(c)3 Organization

In addition to becoming a non-profit corporation, we are also proud to share that Hancock Hounds Dog Park, Inc. has received tax-exempt status as a 501(c)3 organization from the IRS. This designation recognizes our commitment to serving the community and allows us to accept tax-deductible donations to support the park’s development and ongoing operations.

Supporting the Construction of Phase 2

With our new non-profit status in place, we are now actively raising funds to complete “Phase 2” of the construction of the Hancock Hounds Dog Park. This phase will bring exciting new additions and amenities to the park, enhancing the experience for both dogs and their owners.

The Hancock Hounds Dog Park is conveniently located behind the Hancock Town Hall at 661 West Main Street. It is a short walk for local residents and easily accessible to commuters, with parking available at the town hall. Furthermore, the park will be situated next to the new Tesla Turbo electric vehicle charging station, offering convenience for electric vehicle owners.

One of the highlights of our dog park is its stunning location in the scenic western Catskills, serving as a gateway to the Delaware River in upstate New York. Surrounded by natural beauty, the park provides a tranquil and picturesque setting for dogs and their owners to enjoy.

We are excited about the progress we have made and the opportunities that lie ahead for Hancock Hounds Dog Park. With the support of our community and generous donors, we are confident that we will be able to bring Phase 2 to fruition and create a truly exceptional space for dogs to play and socialize.
